About
A multidisciplinary visual artist, Kitty Ritig explores themes of belonging, intimacy, and the search for connection through emotionally resonant and sensorially driven practices.
Rooted in emotional landscapes, her work transforms personal narratives into shared experiences, centering on the concept of the “soft inner animal” - an instinctive, sensitive, and deeply creative presence that remains quietly persistent. Working across conventional and unconventional media, she interrogates the act of looking while creating conditions for this inner presence to safely re-emerge, inviting a shift from effort into recognition and opening pathways toward a more embodied sense of belonging and renewed perception.
Ritig holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and is a certified art therapist, extending her engagement with art beyond creation into processes of healing and reflection, and also works as a lecturer in Fine Arts and facilitator of creative workshops, fostering spaces for artistic dialogue and creative expression.
